REQUIREMENTS FOR VISA APPLICATION

• 1 duly completed Original Visa Application Form (IM.47- Pin. 1/97),Visa Application form can be downloaded from the following website:- www.imi.gov.my
• 2 recent coloured passport-size photos with white background (studio version);
• Passport validity not less than 6 months from travel date and must contain at least 3 continuous empty pages;
• Photocopy of Passport, previous Malaysian visa (if any);
• Photocopy of Return Air ticket;
• Financial proof i.e personal Bank Statement for the last 3 months accompanied by Bank Solvency Letter/Certificate or International credit card for those living outside of Bangladesh;
• Application Letter from the applicant stating the purpose of visit;
• Invitation/Reference letter from sponsor or counterpart in Malaysia, if relevant;
• Other supporting documents :
  • Trade license/visiting card/ID card (photocopy), marriage certificate (for first time applicant);
• For non-Bangladeshi citizen, visa will only be issued to those residing in Bangladesh with valid employment/residence permit.
• Visa fees:-
  • Bangladeshi Passport : BDT 5400/-
• Submission time : 0845 hrs to 1030 hrs
• Delivery time : 1500 hrs to 1700 hrs
• Processing period : 5 working days

CONSULATE OF THE REPUBLIC OF SINGAPORE GUIDELINES FOR APPLICATION OF VISA FOR BANGLADESHI NATIONALS

The Consulate of the Republic of Singapore in Dhaka processes visa applications for Bangladeshi Nationals and other foreigners who require a social visa to enter Singapore.

Visitors holding ordinary Bangladeshi passports will need to apply for an entry visa prior to their arrival in Singapore. Holders of Bangladeshi Diplomatic and Official passports are exempted from visa requirements. For other nationals, please visit www.ica.gov.sg for details.

Each application for a visa will be considered on its own merits.

A Singapore visa is not an immigration pass. It is a pre-entry permission for the holder of a valid Singapore visa to travel to, and seek entry, into Singapore. The grant of an immigration pass will be determined by the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) officers at the point of entry. Possession of a valid visa alone does not guarantee entry into Singapore.

A holder of a valid Singapore visa who is found suitable for entry into Singapore will be issued with an immigration pass to enter and remain in Singapore. You are advised to check your passport for the arrival visit pass endorsement when in Singapore and take note of the period of stay granted before leaving the checkpoint. The period of stay granted is shown on the visit pass endorsement given on your passport and it is not tied to the validity of your visa.

Application Fee

• Bangladesh Taka equivalent SGD$30/- per Applicant excluding Agent’s Fee.

Processing Time

• At least five(5) working days (excluding the day of passport submission at the Singapore Consulate). However, some applications may take a longer time to process.

Submission of Visa application

Applications must be submitted on-line through one of the Consulate's Authorised Visa Agents in Dhaka. The list of Authorised Visa Agents is appended below.

Documents Required for Visa Application

• Valid passport with at least six months validity from the date of arrival in Singapore.
  Ensure that your passport has at least one blank page for the visa to be pasted on.
• 1 set of application form, duly completed (Form 14A)
• Letter of Introduction (LOI) to be issued by a local contact in Singapore:
  • For Social Visitors, any Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident, who is at least 21 years old, can act as a local contact.
  • For Business Visitors, a Singapore registered company / organisation can act as a local contact. The LOI must be signed by a Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident, who is at least 21 years old, only.
• A recent passport-sized photograph with the following specifications:
  • The photograph must be taken within the past 3 months
  • Photograph should be in colour, must be taken against a white background with a Matt or semi-Matt finish
  • Image must show the full face and without headgear (headgear worn in accordance with religious or racial customs is acceptable but must not hide the facial features)
  • The facial image must be between 25 mm and 35 mm from chin to crown.
• Photocopy of the bio-data page of the applicant's passport.

VISA REQUIRMENTS

FOR BANGLADESHI NATIONALS - HOLDERS OF DIPLOMATIC AND OFFICIAL PASSPORTS

1. Bangladeshi nationals who are holders of valid diplomatic or special passports may enter the Philippines without entry visas and stay for a period of thirty (30) days.
2. Bangladeshi nationals who are holders of valid diplomatic or special passports on assigment in the Philippines may stay without visas for entry only for a period of thirty (30) days and required to obtain appropriate 9(e) visa and other necessary accreditation from the DFA within thirty (30) days.

VISA APPLICATION PROCEDURE

Submission of Documents

1. Visa applications will be accepted at Gate No. 2 strictly from 9:00AM-11:30AM (0900H-1130H) only.
2. Visa applicants shall submit relevant documents through accredited agencies only.
3. Processing fee payment of BDT3,400 shall also be made through these accredited agencies.
4. The accredited agencies will receive the corresponding receipt for the payment and will get notice to wait for a call from the Embassy if an application is approved or not and if a schedule for interview is necessary.
5. No foreign nationals or walk-in applicants may enter the premises at any time.

Interview of Visa Applicants

1. If an interview is necessary, a visa applicant will receive a call from the Embassy within five (5) working days after submission of the application and will be informed of the date and time of the interview.
2. On the scheduled interview, the visa applicant shall proceed to Gate No. 1 and shall bring the following:
   1. Valid ID to be presented to the guard
   2. Documents needed for the interview
3. No applicant shall be allowed to bring a bag inside the premises.
4. The applicant shall be escorted by the guard to leave the premises after the interview.

Approved Visa Application.

1. If a visa application is approved, the accredited agency will receive a call from the Embassy on the sixth (6th) working day from the submission of documents and will be given a schedule for submission of passport.
2. The accredited agency’s representative shall proceed to Gate No. 2 for the submission of passport strictly from 9:00AM-12:00NN (0900H-1200H) only.
3. The accredited agency shall be given a stub with a schedule for the release of the visa.

Release of Visa

1. Release of the visa is at Gate No. 2 strictly from 2:00PM to 4:00PM (1400H-1600H) only.
2. The accredited agency shall present the stub and receipt to the Embassy staff in claiming the visa at the gate.
3. Under no circumstance shall the guard or consular staff open the gate.

FOR TOURISM

1. Accomplished Application for Philippine Visa form.
2. Proof of Financial capability e.g. Assets/Ownership, proof of tax payment.
3. Bank Statement of visa applicant or letter/proof of financial support by the sponsor.
4. Round trip airline ticket
5. Confirmed hotel accommodation/invitation letter from sponsor (stating address in the Philippines) and sponsor’s passport copy
6. Police Clearance ***
7. Travel itinerary
8. For Businessmen: Travel license
9. For Employees: Certificate of employment and employees tax certificate/TIN
10. Passport valid for not less than six(6) months after sojourn in the Philippines
11. Two copies of 2″ x 2″ recent photographs
12. Visa fees:
    1. Single Entry valid for three (3) months Tk 3,400.00
    2. Multiple Entry valid for six (6) months Tk 6,800.00
    3. Multiple Entry valid for one (1) year Tk 10,200.00

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS FOR SPECIAL CASES:

For Minor applicants:

• Birth certificate.
• Marriage certificate of parents, and
• Copy of parents’ passports

For applicants married to a Filipino:

• Invitation letter from the spouse, and
• Copy of spouse’s passport.

FOR BUSINESS PURPOSE

1. Accomplished Application for Philippine Visa form
2. Invitation from the Philippine addressed to the Philippine Embassy and to the applicant
3. Company letter including purpose of travel to the Philippines
4. Registration of Business of the applicant and the sponsor
5. Bank Statement of visa applicant
6. Police clearance***
7. Proof of Financial capability e.g. Assets/Ownership, proof of tax payment
8. Passport valid for not less than six(6) months after sojourn in the Philippines
9. Round trip airline ticket/booking
10. Two copies of 2″ x 2″ recent photographs
11. Visa fees:
    • Single Entry valid for three (3) months Tk 3,400.00
    • Multiple Entry valid for six (6) months Tk 6,800.00
    • Multiple Entry valid for one (1) year Tk 10,200.00

FOR HOLDERS OF ORDINARY PASSPORTS TO ATTEND MEETING /SEMINAR AND STUDY TOURS IN THE PHILIPPINES

1. Accomplished Application for Philippine Visa form
2. Invitation from the Philippine addressed to the Philippine Embassy and to the applicant
3. Letter from the Employer
4. Bank Statement of visa applicant
5. Proof of Financial capability e.g. Assets/Ownership, proof of tax payment
6. Police Clearance***
7. Authenticated Registration of inviting organization
8. Passport valid for not less than six(6) months after sojourn in the Philippines
9. Round trip airline ticket/booking
10. Two copies of 2″ x 2″ recent photographs
11. Visa fees:
    1. Single Entry valid for three (3) months Tk 3,400.00
    2. Multiple Entry valid for six (6) months Tk 6,800.00
    3. Multiple Entry valid for one (1) year Tk 10,200.00

• Application for visa is open from 9:00 am to 12:00 am only
• Schedule of release of available visas is from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm
• It takes ten to fifteen (10-15) working days before a visa is issued

MULTIPLE- ENTRY TOURIST VISA (METV)

To apply for the Multiple – Entry Tourist Visa, the applicant is required to present the following required documents:

1. An Application form completely filled out and signed by the applicant.
2. A valid passport with at least 6 months of validity
3. A valid Bangladeshi stay permit or work permits for other nationalities
4. One set of passport photocopy page 1-5, correction page, last Thai visa page & renewal page if applicable.
5. Two passport-sized photographs (3.5x4.5cm) taken within 6 months
6. Evidence of adequate finance e.g. Current Bank Solvency and Bank Statement with a minimum balance of 200,000 baht or 500,000 taka (for individual person), or a minimum balance of 400,000 baht or 1,000,000 taka (for family) all through the last 6 months per person or per family. Only original bank statement and bank solvency letter are acceptable.
7. A copy of air ticket or a booking confirmation or an itinerary
8. A copy of hotel reservation confirmation in Thailand ( for the first trip)
9. Proof of employment letter from the employer, indicating position in the company and monthly salary if employed or letter from an educational institute or student card/evidence of school enrollment if student.
10. Trade license (a copy of the original and a notarized and translated (English) copy) if the applicant is a proprietor (self-Employed)
11. Parents’ consent letter for applicant aged under than 18.

Tourist Visa “TR”

This type of visa is issued to applicants who wish to enter the Kingdom for tourism purposes. Requirements :

• An application form completely filled out and signed by the applicant
• A valid passport for travelling to Thailand with sufficient remaining validity (Not less than six month)
• One set of passport photocopy page 1-5, correction page, last Thai visa page & renewal page if any
• Two passport-sized photographs (3.5x4.5cm) taken within 6 months
• Evidence of adequate finance e.g. Current Bank Solvency and Bank Statement of the last 6 months with satisfactory transaction (at least 20,000 Baht per person and 40,000 Baht per family or 60,000 Taka per person and 120,000 Taka per family). Only original Bank Statement and Bank Solvency Letter are acceptable. In case of the applicant is sponsored by his/her company and the company Bank Statement and Bank Solvency Letter are submitted, trade license has to be attached. Royal Thai Embassy reserves the right to request for the applicant’s personal Bank Statement.
• A certified copy of an identification of applicant’s sponsor if the applicant submits a sponsor’s Bank Statement and the sponsor is not submitting application together with the applicant
• A copy of air ticket or a booking confirmation or an itinerary
• Visa request letter from the applicant and from office if employed or travel letter from the educational institute or student card/evidence of school enrollment if student
• In case of medical treatment, a copy of appointment letter from a hospital in Thailand and, if applicable, an original letter from a local doctor
• Parents’ consent letter for applicant aged under 18
• Trade license (original notarized English translated and photocopy of the original) if the applicant is a first time traveler or a proprietor
